Patio Furnishings
Upgrades to the patio furnishing on the southeast side of the Claresholm General Hospital are underway. Current conditions don’t provide shade or much comfort with no tree cover and older worn-out patio furniture.
AIRVO 2 Humidifier
New to the Claresholm General Hospital will be the AIRVO 2 humidifier. This humidifier is for the treatment of spontaneously breathing patients who would benefit from receiving high flow, warmed, and humidified oxygen. The equipment provides versatile and effective treatment of high flow oxygen therapy for patients in respiratory distress. The design offers a comfortable interface that stays in place to enhance compliance with high flow therapy.
Vital Sign Monitors
The addition of more vital sign monitors within Claresholm General Hospital enhances staff efficiency, managing increased acuity and capacity on inpatient and increased volume and acuity of patients in the ER. Having dedicated equipment reduces the risk of transmission of infection.
Three New Medication Carts
The addition of three new medication carts at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre maximizes space and efficiencies for medication administration. The new carts arrived just in time, as the facilities older and outdated carts were starting to fall apart.
2022 ATCO EPIC Fall Campaign
The Claresholm & District Health Foundation was selected as on of ATCO’s Feature Charities in 2022. Aden’s Run
Amidst Claresholm Fair Days, over 80 people gathered at Kin Trail for the first annual Aden’s Run. This fun run was established in memory of Aden to help raise awareness for people struggling with mental health issues.
