Seeing a need and following through is exactly what Ron & Bonnie Atkinson did.

After receiving care in Calgary and noticing how important the Sara Stedy was to her care, and the ease of use for the nurses, Bonnie took note. This non-powered, manual standing and raising aid designed to assist patients and residents with sit-to-stand transfers was the perfect piece of equipment that our local hospital needed. During Bonnie’s recent stay at our local hospital, she spoke with our physio therapist about acquiring one for local patient use. Together, they came to the foundation to request one.
