Many hands make light work! We plan large events as a fun, effective way of raising funds for local healthcare. Offering to help plan or run an event is a great way to make a difference!
The foundation hosts annual events. Volunteering and attendance at these events provide an opportunity to support our ongoing health care goals. There are many opportunities for personal and corporate involvement.
Since 2014, AHS staff have had the opportunity to participate in the WinWin Staff Lottery. Through direct payroll deductions, AHS staff get their chance to win monthly draws of $1,000, $50,000 and six (6) $50,000 bonus draws. In 2021, the WinWin Staff Lottery expanded to include a quarterly 50/50 draw open to all eligible residents of Alberta.
Participation in the WinWin Staff Lottery directly supports advancements in patient care throughout Alberta all through local foundations such as the Claresholm & District Health Foundation. To date more than $23 million has been contributed throughout local health foundations across Alberta.
AHS staff can begin payroll deductions by enrolling online at winwinstafflottery.ca or by calling 1-844-594-6946. Online purchases may also be made using any major credit card. Deduction amounts are dependent upon the chosen ticket package. Tickets can be purchased for one or more draws but must be purchased within the sales period for each draw.
For the WinWin Staff Lottery, there are 618 total prizes valued at $1,500,000. Each month, from a list of eligible tickets there will be one (1) draw for $50,000 and fifty (50) draws for $1,000. In addition, there are six (6) Bonus draws for $50,000 in the months of January, February, March, May, August, and November.
Quarterly Cash 50/50 tickets available are single tickets for $5 each; 5 tickets for $15; 10 tickets for $25; 20 tickets for $35; and quick pick bundles* of 5 tickets for $10; 10 tickets for $17.50; and 20 tickets for $30. A total of 4,860,000 tickets are available for the quarterly cash 50/50.
Funds raised for the foundation are dependent upon participation in staff and residents within our foundation zone. All monies raised here, stay here, therefore monies raised through the WinWin lottery are used to purchase much needed equipment for the site in which we support; Claresholm General Hospital, Claresholm Centre for Mental Health and Addictions, Claresholm Mental Health Clinic, Community Health, Lander Treatment Centre, and the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre.

You can organize and carry out your own events to benefit local healthcare was well. You can list the Claresholm and District Health Foundation as a beneficiary to your large or small fundraising gathering. We can collaborate with you on a specific project or goal.
