Dinner, Dueling Pianos & Charlie Ewing – November 2, 2024
Celebrating the accomplishment of raising $2.4 million in equipment for our local healthcare facilities in 25 years is something worth dancing to. The community came together on Saturday, November 2, to enjoy a delicious dinner & great entertainment.
Local singer/songwriter, Charlie Ewing, played an amazing acoustic set after our dinner followed by Rob Bergevin auctioning off our donated live auction items. A Helicopter Tour, incredible seats to a Flames game, VIP tickets to our local Glen Keeley Memorial Bull Riding and loaded gift baskets were just some of the items donated by our local community businesses and organizations. Bids were flying in hot and captured by our board members Andy Hart & Andrew Eberl, bringing in a total of $4,425!
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oy, Oy, Oy!! Two talented performers from Aussie Rules in Calgary, played the pianos and sang us through the rest of the night. Dancing, singing, cheering and great comedy with our favourite party songs.
We are thankful for everyone who attended. Without our community, we wouldn’t be able to celebrate such a successful milestone & continue to support local healthcare!
